SAP Assessment Stages

Our technical team provides a streamlined compliance pathway, supporting your project from initial design to final certification. We coordinate with architects and developers to ensure every dwelling meets strict Part L Building Regulations.
01. Design Stage SAP
Conducted prior to building work, we review architectural drawings to verify the proposed fabric and services meet the Target Emission Rate (TER). This stage is critical for planning and building control applications.
02. As-Built Assessment
Once construction is complete, we update the calculations to reflect any site-work variations and incorporate the results from the air permeability pressure tests to confirm final performance accuracy.
03. Final Certification
Following final validation, we issue the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and the final SAP reports required for Building Control sign-off, ensuring your development is legal and ready for occupancy.
Required Documentation
To provide an accurate assessment, our team requires a clean set of architectural drawings and technical specifications for the building envelope and systems.
• Full Floor Plans, Sections, and Elevations
• Insulation Specifications
• Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation Systems Details
• Air Permeability Test Certificates (As-Built Only)
